"Monkeys in a tree" is a nice fingerplay that has got a lot of possibilities to work with. Here is the link to print the poem for colouring a bit and make it part of our class poembook and songbook. Sitting in a tree
Teasing Mr. Crocodile:
"You can't catch
"You can't catch me."
Along comes Mr. Crocodile
As quiet as can be-SNAP!
Away swims Mr. Crocodile
As full as he can be!!!

Five little monkeys jumping
on the bed
One fell off and bumped
his head
Mama called the doctor and
